Prevention of dental problems has always been an important cornerstone of what Honeygo Village Dentistry offers its dental patients. This is accomplished primarily through our outstanding staff of dental hygienists.
Brushing and Flossing
Our dental hygienists teach the correct use of toothbrushes, dental floss, and other dental aids that can be used to maximize what you can do at home to improve your dental health.
Fluoride and Sealant Treatments
The dental hygienist will most often be the professional staff member who provides fluoride treatments to strengthen the teeth and/or place sealants. Sealants are sometimes placed on the posterior teeth, because they have deep grooves or fissures on the biting surfaces, that increase the chances there will be decay over time. The sealants act to help prevent that decay from occurring.
